At Crown Pools we realize that the pool building experience can be overwhelming. We pride ourselves in excellent customer care and strive to make your experience enjoyable. Please feel free to call or email us with any question you may have. Below is a list of frequently asked questions:

How long does the entire process take?

Depending upon weather and the complexity of the project, the usual time from start to completion is 6-8 weeks. Some areas may require permitting. This process usually takes 2 weeks and must be completed before the start of the job.

Is there anything I need to do during the process?

We understand that life is busy and we want to limit the amount of workload on our clients. The only information we request from our clients is a survey of the property and any ideas or feedback that they may have. We will take care of submitting everything that is needed for permitting, as well as location of any utilities before excavation. Unlike other companies, we do not require you to be home at the time of excavation or after gunite. The owner himself oversees all areas of construction so your worksite is always maintained and you do not have to be at home during the process. Upon completion of plaster after filling, we do ask that you assist in brushing the plaster 2-3 times daily for the first week.

What if I am unsure of what design I want?

Crown Pools is unique in that we do not send out a salesperson for you to meet with. You will meet directly with the owner himself. He will assess the area that you have and discuss any ideas with you that you may have. If you are unsure of what you want, that is ok too. We offer complimentary pool tours to view our work and help you establish ideas. We also invite you to view our extensive photo gallery.

After providing a copy of your survey, Shane will develop a unique design based on adjacent architectural structures, size of proposed area, budget and personal preferences. Our draftsman will then create the plan using a program known as Pool Studios. We will provide you with a complimentary 3D plan of the project so you can get a realistic picture of what it will look like. Revisions can be made as needed. We work with our clients in creating an individualized plan based on personality, lifestyle and budget. Once the plan is finalized the permitting process can begin.

Do you offer pool servicing for repairs?

Yes, at Crown Pools we want to establish an ongoing relationship with our clients and again reduce their workload. We offer pool equipment servicing and repairs. If there is a warranty issue we will take care of submitting it for repair or service. We offer customer care support services including technical support between 8am-5pm and after hours by voicemail. In emergency situations we will send someone out immediately.

How do we run our equipment and maintain our pool?

Upon completion of the project, Shane will schedule a pool school at your convenience. At this time he will teach you about your equipment and demonstrate how to test your chemicals. He will also inform you of proper pool care and maintenance. This can be scheduled at your convenience.
